As they struggle to contain healthcare costs and retain talent, employers are increasingly interested in implementing a population health strategy. The only problem is, they don’t know much about it.
In fact, in a survey of employers with more than 5,000 employees, 64% of respondents said they were likely to pursue population health in the next 12-18 months, while only 12% of respondents said they were unlikely to do so. At the same time, 80% of employer respondents said they have limited knowledge of population health.
