Plymouth Meeting, Pa. - March 24, 2015 - Accolade, Inc., provider of the country's most comprehensive and proven consumer healthcare engagement platform for large businesses, announced today that it has been named to the “Top Workplaces” list for the fifth year in a row.

A spot on the list is reserved for those 100 companies that achieved the highest scores on a 22-question survey completed by people working at Philadelphia-area companies. Accolade joins an elite group of companies able to sustain the honor for five years running; last year only 20 companies held that distinction.

The survey was conducted in late 2014 with questions pertaining to employee engagement, the workplace and individual job satisfaction. These questions examined key issues such as managerial support, compensation and benefits, work/life balance and opportunities for career development. Winners were categorized by company size, measured by number of employees.

The scores and write-in comments on the Top Workplace survey, which is administered by research firm Workplace Dynamics, illustrate what makes Accolade stand out. The company received especially high marks in categories such as managerial support, leadership direction and giving team members a sense of purpose. Many of the write-in comments pointed to the company's mission: “It's an environment where the motto is to truly help people. I feel like we don't just say it, but we are allowed to actually do it.” Another said, “I've never worked for a company that put caring for people at the center of everything, and that has made me a better employee, leader and human.”
