SEATTLE, June 23, 2017 – Accolade, an on-demand healthcare concierge for employers, health plans and health systems, has been recognized by Seattle Business magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in Washington state, and a Best Place to Work by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
“These awards speak to the incredible culture we have at Accolade – focused on teamwork, doing the right thing and serving others – and we’re honored to receive them,” said Raj Singh, Chief Executive Officer at Accolade. “With multiple offices and swift growth, the only way we can reach our goal of reinventing the healthcare experience for everyone, is to do it together with people we enjoy, respect and trust. This is what inspires us every single day and shows in these awards.”
Accolade’s Seattle office joins Seattle Business magazine’s prestigious list after just over one year in the region. Since its office opening in March 2016, the Seattle team has grown to more than 95 employees — about 70% of whom are developing next-generation healthcare technologies and solutions for employers, health plans, health systems and individuals and their families. The official ranking for the Philadelphia office will be announced in August. This is the sixth time Accolade has been named a Top Workplace in the city.
A record breaking number of employees submitted confidential surveys to be considered for the Best Places to Work awards. Both awards honor companies for exceptional leadership, working environment, and benefits programs, with Accolade also scoring high in flexible work arrangements, fully paid family leave, and an open and transparent working environment.
“While some call these benefits ‘extras’ or ‘perks’ we consider them essential to fuel the spirit of our culture,” said Elizabeth Napolitano, Executive Vice President of Human Resources. “Accolade is filled with amazing, talented people who care deeply about what we do, and like to have fun along the way.”
These awards demonstrate that across Accolade’s offices in Seattle, Plymouth Meeting, Scottsdale and Prague, there is a unified company culture that leads to extremely high employee satisfaction and a commitment to achieving the company mission.
