If you’re feeling the pressure to stand out in a crowded talent market, you’re not alone. A 2018 benchmark survey from Gallagher found that 60 percent of employers listed “attracting and retaining a competitive workforce” as their top operational priority.
One way HR teams can achieve this goal? By offering a compelling and comprehensive benefits package. According to Metlife, 83 percent of employees said they would be willing to take a small pay cut if it meant having a better choice of benefits.
Leaders from two “Best Companies to Work for” echo this sentiment, even as they compete for qualified candidates against well-known corporations in their local markets. Join Gina Goodrich, senior manager of benefits at Apptio, and Elizabeth Napolitano, executive vice president of People and Culture at Accolade, as they team up to share their best practices for choosing benefits that employees (and their families) love.
